I. Network Connection Problems
1. What should I do if the network distribution fails?
Network pairing failure is usually caused by the following reasons, please check them one by one:
✅ Check Wi-Fi password: Make sure you enter the correct password (case sensitive).
✅ Confirm the Wi-Fi band: CAMDUCK only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (after successful network pairing, the phone can switch back to 5GHz or mobile data).
✅ Reduce the distance between devices: keep your cell phone, camera and router within 2 meters as much as possible.
✅ Change stable network: avoid using public Wi-Fi or networks with weak signals.
✅ Check cellular network: make sure your phone is connected (some models will not switch automatically).
2. Distribution network timeout?
If the pairing network is stuck, the following problems may be present:
🔌 CAM power off → Re-plug and start.
📶 No network on the router → Reboot the router, wait 2 minutes and then restart the CAM.
🔑 Wi-Fi name/password changed → Re-patching is required.
⚡ Environment recovered after power failure → CAM starts faster than the router. it is recommended to reboot the CAM.
3. Can't enter the network countdown?
📱 APP does not enable “Local Network” permission → Go to phone settings to authorize.
4. No Wi-Fi Networks Showing?
📍 Grant "Location" permissions to CAMDUCK app
5. APP does not pop up the Bluetooth mating network?
📶 Confirm the device version: only the Bluetooth version of CAM supports this function.
🔵 Enable Bluetooth permission: allow APP to use Bluetooth in phone settings.
🌐 Check the network status: if the CAM is networked, Bluetooth mating is not required.
II Storage and Recording Problems
6. How to use CAM without network?
CAMDUCK supports 3 working modes to adapt to different scenarios:
1️⃣ Offline Recording: automatically stored in SD card, need to be viewed via computer.
2️⃣ Direct CAM Wi-Fi: Mobile phone connects to the camera hotspot (up to 30 meters away in open environment).
3️⃣ Remote Networking: Connect to the Internet for global real-time viewing (Wi-Fi required).
7. Do I have to install SD card?
📁 No SD card → Live view only, can't store video.
💾 An official SD card is recommended:
128GB card can store approx. 10~40 days of video (dynamically adjusted according to the picture).
8. Is there a cloud storage function?
☁️ To protect privacy, CAMDUCK does not open cloud storage, all data is only stored in the local SD card.

9. Is the recorded video secure?
🔐 Double protection:
Video transmission encryption to prevent interception.
Disable cloud storage to avoid third-party leakage.
10. How to prevent others from viewing the surveillance footage?
